Laminate flooring is a popular material for creating a floor, because it has an attractive appearance and high reliability. If you decide to install the floor with your own hands, all you will need are the appropriate tools and, of course, the laminate itself. But how much laminate flooring do you need? How to find the number of packages, because it is not sold by the piece?

With the help of this calculator you can estimate the number of packs/panels of flooring for a given square footage of the room at the chosen method of laying. You can find out how many pieces of laminate there are in a pack using the tables below. If you need to calculate the weight of the pack, clear all the fields and then specify the dimensions of each piece and their number in the pack. Check with your supplier for the exact density of the material, the average is 900 kg/m3 (56 lb/ft3).

How to calculate laminate flooring?

4. Add a seam between the wall and the laminate (optional).
5. Add/remove additional surfaces (optional).
6. Specify the number of panels in the package (optional).
