Why use this calculator?

In any construction work at the planning stage, it is important to correctly calculate the amount of materials needed, because it allows you to avoid problems with shortages and additional trips to the store, and also allows you to save money if you prefer to buy with a large reserve.

This tool helps to estimate with minimal errors the amount of materials, their weight, volume and cost required to create a concrete slab (plate foundation) according to the specified parameters. Using this application, you will no longer have the question: how much material do I need for a concrete slab.

How does it work?

1. You fill in the fields: Length, Width, Thickness in the Slab Size section.
2. You specify the proportions of Cement, Sand, Crushed Stone to create the desired concrete grade, and you also specify the weight of a bag of cement and their amount in the section "Concrete Mix".
3. If you are interested in calculation of reinforcement, fill in "Armature".
4. Similarly, you can fill in the "Formwork" field, if necessary.
5. To get the total cost of the concrete slab, specify the cost of each of the materials in the suggested dimensions.
