How to calculate Center Beam Stair?

  • Step 1. Choose the measurement units, DU — mm, cm, m, inches, feet.
  • Step 2. Choose the drawing color, CL — monochrome, color.
  • Step 3. Choose the staircase type — left turn, LF, right turn, RG.
  • Step 4. Choose the staircase construction mode — fixed total run, EX, fixed total run №1, intermediate total run and total run №2 are calculated automatically, EB, fixed intermediate total run, total run №1 and №2 are calculated automatically, EM, fixed total run №2, intermediate total run and total run №1 are calculated automatically, ET.
  • Step 5. Input the stair, stairwell dimensions — total rise, SH*, stairway width, SW, opening between stairways, MD**, length along lower stairway, LB, length along lower stairway, LT.
    * from the 1nd floor level to the 2nd floor level
    * total rise = stairwell height (if top step is on the 2nd floor level)
    ** opening between stairways = intermediate stairway length
  • Step 6. Input the steps parameters — rise, DH, thickness, SC, nosing, SF*.
    * nosing = tread overlap
  • Step 6.1. Input the winder steps parameters — minimum tread depth at the connection to the support post, MW, minimum tread depth at the connection to the stringer, MF.
